I’m a pet lover and have been my whole life.  After the disaster of Katrina and witnessing the sadness of the pets left behind and/or separated from their families, I started thinking about my 4-legged friends.

General Patton, the tabby, Tobey, the old man of our canine brigade, and Atticus, the exuberant Private would not do well in an emergency.  If we couldn’t get home, or had to leave them behind, how would rescuers know?

Then I recalled the sticker that alerted firefighters of my childhood bedroom, and the “Baby on Board” sign in my car when my now 21 year old son was in the vehicle.  Both examples advised others to be aware and to take care.

My “HELP! WE’RE AT HOME” static cling sticker is available to alert others of our beloved pets.  The 4” x 4” static cling stickers will not harm your windows or glass doors.

I have a sticker on my glass front door and my back window.  I also keep one handy in my car and at the office for those “go to work with my 2- legged Mom days.”

I hope we never have to be in need of this sticker, but just in case...after all they are family!
